Our plans in response to the coronavirus
In-Person Gatherings Update 6.7.20
As we continue to navigate through these unique days and consider the plan for starting up in-person gatherings, we have developed a “Reopening Phased Plane.” Please keep in mind that things are very fluid and this is the plan as it stands today. It will most likely change. Please know that we will be very cautious and conservative. Safety is our priority. We will be focused on safety before speed. Please continue to give online
Thank you in advance for keeping up with your tithes and offerings online. If you don’t currently use our online system, simply click here and give online via credit card, debit card, or bank account. You can even set up reoccurring giving like many in our church do. We appreciate your faithfulness as we will continue to need to pay our expenses. Thanks!
The Transformation Center
Our mission outreach center, the Transformation Center will continue to be open during the next two weeks during the state of emergency. The reality is our friends in Brooklyn will continue to need food and we are committed to ensure that they have those provisions. We have changed our systems in order to eliminate as much person to person contact. All of our surfaces have been wiped down and each of our volunteers and guest will be provided gloves and hand sanitizer.
The Streetlite Child Development Center
The Streetlite CDC will be following the Maryland State School mandate of not meeting.
Let’s remember to keep our eyes on Jesus!
The scriptures tell us in Hebrews to “keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith” It is tempting in the midst of this coronavirus crisis to have fear and to be anxious. We want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. Take time to pray for those who have been affected by this, and for folks who are more vulnerable to complications related to the virus. Lets claim the promise that God gives us in Romans 8:28 that tells us that He is able to “work all things together for the good, to those who love Him and are called according to His purposes.”
Also … wash your hands often and keep your surfaces clean!
